This painting was inspired by a sunset seen from Crystal Cove on Mackenzie Beach near Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island. A soft breeze whispers that summer is almost over and the sky glows with the last warmth of tangerine and cotton candy. I linger until the magic is gone, then I head home with a full heart.
